  • Total 2021 + 17.87%

Finally this month is over which has given us only sadness and headaches! We have experienced huge losses and I am most sorry for you copiers who have trusted me.

Personally I am not worried, I will never tire of saying that our companies are strong companies with a great future. We went through a very strong correction, if it will continue for the month of March I don't know, but that we will recover one day that's more than sure!

It is disheartening to see huge losses every day, and the most annoying thing is not being able to do anything about it. Let's see the positive side, we bought a lot, more than 30% of the liquidity I had was invested at a good price, hoping for a rebound that didn't happen. I compare myself with some PIs, someone managed to close the month positively, others closed the month with greater losses, however since the beginning of the year I am still in first place for gain, I hope that in March the situation will stabilize a bit and allow me to close some positions that I have opened in the short term. If this were not the case, let's think long term. If the fall continues I will likely add more funds in mid-March to buy more, I will definitely not close any positions at a loss because I don't see why. I think it is more appropriate to add funds in the face of large losses rather than in a time of strong gains. Of course if I do so you are free not to add funds, I understand you very well!

Performance: 1/5 - We underperformed the Nasdaq this month, however we have outperformed it since the beginning of the year.

Satisfaction: 1/5 - Not at all satisfied, I bought 10-15% declines in shares but they continued to fall. Obviously when they return to the levels before the major correction we would have much greater gains because I purchase at much lower prices.

Let's see the TOPs and FLOPs:

TOP3

  1. CINE.L: + 21.52%

  2. JAZZ: + 4.63%

  3. STLA: + 0.40%

The only three companies that closed this week in green. Unbelievable, I didn't think I had 3 companies that closed in green! I'm very happy!

Now comes the weeping:

FLOP3

  1. NNDM: - 29.06%

  2. BNGO: - 28.30%

  3. SPCE: - 27.27%

And the list goes on forever for the second consecutive week!

In February the worst were PLTR, NNDM, NIO.

I would like to focus on some companies that I have exposed myself more to this month:

PLTR by now we know that the growth expectations for next year are not in line with expectations, (for this the momentary decline) but this does not mean that it will not be able to beat them and grow more. ARK invest also bought several shares on February 17th and did it again on Friday. Take a look at the link (https://cathiesark.com/ark-combined-holdings-of-pltr).

We anticipated it because we know the value of the company, but I can't afford to expose myself more. Company that can only grow!

NIO, March 1st will leave earnings, I'm sure analysts' estimates will be beaten for revenue, while I'm not sure they'll be able to beat EPS estimate.

HOWEVER ..... There are many rumors about the opening of the company in the European market, last year there was talk, the company has not currently released any official news but it could happen that during the release of the profits you leave some information about it. . This is why I opened another position on Thursday. I hope so , if so we can expect a strong recovery of our beloved company.

Another company on which I have exposed myself enough is NIU, on 8 March it will release its profits. Here, too, I expect great sales, I don't think they have any problems beating analysts' expectations. Last Q3 they had lower turnover than expected but reading the balance this was due to the promotions launched for their latest product. From month to month they beat the sales of the previous period, so I expect a recovery. Great company, one of my favorites.

BYND released earnings on Thursday afternoon, they did not keep up with analysts' expectations for the second consecutive quarter (I have not had a chance to read the balance sheet, but the EPS at -0.4 must be justified, I will study the balance during the week), however the agreement with Mcdonalds, that were talking about some time ago went through, so here too it is a company that cannot help but grow. They also have a close agreement with YUM, PEPSI ... so how can we not think about their bright future?

I could talk endlessly about the companies we have in our portfolio and I only see positive aspects.

If we want to look for a company that I did not like very much its behavior towards investors it is SPCE. They announced the test launch in May (it was supposed to take place in February but they liquidated investors with a low value Tweet). They keep putting it off and I wouldn't be surprised if they cancel it again in May. In late March they are expected to complete a second spaceship to add to their fleet. I begin to doubt, however I am not very exposed, if it completes the launch it will surely increase a lot! So here too, great future, but they still not able to fly! The expenses, their cash position remain within the norm. They didn't (obviously) sell any other tickets over the 600 sold long ago.

I would like to point out the drop this month, obviously the big January growth in our shares meant that the February correction was more important. Some companies are proving very volatile, I am taking note and will take action as soon as possible. It's good to see big gains, but it's equally bad to see huge losses, so I will try to decrease the volatility even though I currently have a risk of 5.

Let's keep a positive mind, situations like these aren't the first we face and they definitely won't be the last! We have a great well balanced portfolio that honestly doesn't make me doubt in the long run. Thank you for being one of the 18 copiers who have faith in me and my choices!

It was a bit long post, but I need to make you copiers understand the reason for my choices, I do it because I would never copy an investor who does not explain his every choice!

Obviously some information is missing but these are the noteworthy ones this week. I repeat: all my choices are carefully thought out, this month they didn't work out, but I can't be invincible (but I'm working on it!)

Hoping for a better month, I wish you a good start to the week! (Monday 1st March is my birthday, I want that you congratulate me!)
